2. Why is there a fee?
Professional services provided by Nurse Practitioners in independent practice are not currently covered by OHIP.

3. What does my fee include?
Your fee covers:
• Time spent with your Nurse Practitioner
• Relevant testing (e.g., bloodwork)

• Business operations costs: medical record systems, e-fax software, insurance, professional dues, and staff support
4. Why do I need bloodwork or diagnostic tests?
Testing helps identify what’s not functioning as it should.
Some tests may not be covered by OHIP. Tracking your results over time helps us monitor your progress and adjust your plan.
5. How do I get my blood requisition?
